İsmailağa Community Expands Its Illegal Madrasa Education Network

Just a few days before the start of formal education, illegal madrasah education activities in their communities have gained momentum. In this context, the İsmailağa community announced the start of so-called educational activities with new students in girls', boys' and specialized madrasas.

MADRESSA EDUCATION SYSTEM COMPETING TO MEB

The İsmailağa community has an illegal madrasah education network throughout Türkiye, which may be parallel to the Ministry of National Education (MEB). Diyanet's secret sects report stated that the community has various institutions such as schools, madrasahs, Quran courses and press organs; "Education in the İsmailağa community is carried out in three stages: 'Arabic and Memorization Students', 'Evolved Madrasahs' and 'Specialized Madrasahs'. In addition to classical Sufi practices, the community stands out with memorization and madrasah education. Although their main center is Istanbul, they have a serious dominance in these areas throughout Turkey."

MADRASES HAVE STARTED THE NEW ERA

In the statement published the other day by the community, it was stated that the new so-called education period had begun in these illegal madrasahs. In the statement; "Our teachers knelt at the lectern in our Evolvement (Maturation), which is the next step for students who have successfully completed their basic madrasa education, and in our Specialization (Specialization) classes, which aim to become an authority in certain fields by deepening in Islamic sciences," it was said. It was noteworthy that there were African people among the students involved.

MADRESSA NETWORK FROM TURKEY TO MALI

Also, the community; It also carries out madrasah activities in Africa through the "Dar'ul Fünun Education and Solidarity Foundation". The foundation has mosques and madrasahs in the African country of Mali. It is known that there are 2 madrasas belonging to the foundation in Istanbul. One of them is; Known as the "International Dar'ul Fünun Madrasa"; but its official name is "International Dar'ul Fünun Arabic Language Course", while the other one is "Dar'ul Fünun Seyyidler Madrasa", which is officially operated as a Quran course in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul. In these madrasahs, primarily Turkish citizens and high school students from Africa and Central Asia receive education.

PREPARING TO ESTABLISH A MADRESSA IN SYRIA

In addition, the community is also working to open madrassas in Syria, which has transitioned from the secular-socialist BAAS regime to the Islamist HTS regime. Community; Very soon after the change of regime, he sent a delegation to Syria on January 6, 2025, and then on September 15, 2025. As a result of the second meeting, the community announced that they would establish a madrasah in Damascus called "Ismailaga Science Center".
