Immigration plan from Israel for Gaza: Trump's approval awaited

Israel does not give up its determination to commit genocide in the Gaza Strip. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz claimed that the government has completed its preparations for the removal of Palestinians in Gaza from the region and that they are waiting for the approval of US President Donald Trump, and claimed that there cannot be a real solution without removing the Palestinians from Gaza. The Tel Aviv administration had previously brought up the migration of more than two million Palestinians, who were trying to live despite the harsh living conditions in Gaza, to another country, and there was reaction from all over the world.

'THE ONLY SOLUTION IS FOR THEM TO LEAVE'

In his speech at a conference organized by Yedioth Ahronoth, Katz stated that current plans for the future of Gaza include the departure of Palestinians from the region. The Israeli Minister said, "In the end, there is no real solution for Gaza without this migration," and said that the government is "organized and prepared" for the removal of the population from the region. The most striking element in Katz's statements was Washington's role. The Israeli Minister said that US approval is required for the implementation of the plan and that they expect the Trump administration to find a solution regarding the countries to which Palestinians can be taken. It had previously been brought to the agenda that the Tel Aviv administration was in talks with many African countries regarding the migration of Gazans.

THEY CHANGED THE NAME

Katz also claimed that a significant portion of Palestinians in Gaza want to leave the region, claiming that 80 percent of the population wants to emigrate. This policy, which Israel defines as "voluntary migration", brings with it concerns about forced displacement in international circles. Israeli media reported at the end of June that the Tel Aviv administration had changed the name of its plan aimed at encouraging Palestinians to leave Gaza. According to news, Israeli authorities began to use the name "Freedom of Movement Plan" instead of the term "voluntary migration", which attracted intense reactions from the international community. Israel's Channel 13 television reported that security officials and Mossad members were instructed not to use the term "voluntary migration".

EGYPT'S 'RED LINE'

According to the Guardian report, Israel sees Trump's support as critical, especially in terms of convincing regional countries to accept the Palestinians. It is evaluated that Trump's support may put pressure on other Arab states, especially Egypt. However, the US administration has not confirmed that there is a new agreement on the plan in question. When the migration of Palestinians first came to the fore, one of the harshest reactions came from Egypt, and the Cairo administration underlined that the displacement of Gazans was a "red line" for them.

IT MEANS LIQUIDATION OF THE PALESTINE CASE

In an interview with CNN in August last year, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdulati objected to the concept of 'voluntary migration' and said, "Displacement is like a one-way ticket. I assure you that those who will leave Gaza will never be allowed to return to Gaza, and this has only one purpose: the liquidation of the Palestinian cause." The Egyptian minister stated that there was no moral, ethical, legal or political justification for the displacement and said, "We will not accept it, we will not participate in it and we will not allow it to happen."
