30 August Victory Day crossing took place across the Bosphorus

In the event organized by Istanbul Governorship and the Ministry of National Defense within the scope of August 30 Victory Day and Turkish Armed Forces Day, 15 ships affiliated with the Naval Forces Command entered the Bosphorus from Rumeli Feneri.

The ships departed at 09.30, sailed on the Beşiktaş and Maiden's Tower route, and the cortege completed its passage at 11.30.

The cortege was accompanied by boats and ships belonging to the Coast Guard Command and the General Directorate of Coastal Safety.

TCG Savarona, TCG Oruçreis, TCG Heybeliada, TCG Büyükada, TCG Salihreis, TCG Turgutreis, TCG Giresun, TCG Burgazada, TCG Dolunay, TCG Doğanay, TCG Tufan, TCG Amasra, TCG Alemdar and TCG Akın took part in the Bosphorus passage under the leadership of TCG Anadolu.
