Rain and spring waters accumulated in the Valide, Topuzlu, Kirazlı and Sultan Mahmud dams deep within the forest, known today for its hiking trails and natural beauties, fed the historical water system throughout the year.
The waters, which separated from the dams and proceeded from two main branches, east and west, merged in the Başhavuz, at a depth of approximately 14 meters, in the south of Kemerburgaz.
