The claim that two CHP mayors in Izmir will switch to AKP

It was stated that Fıçı and Yıldız are expected to resign from CHP within this week. It was claimed that the two presidents would join the AKP with the badges that President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan would wear.

STATEMENT FROM THE MAYOR

Çiğli Mayor Onur Emrah Yıldız made a statement regarding the issue. Yıldız noted that he was in Ankara to hold talks at the ministerial level, especially on debt restructuring and the removal of cuts in the Bank of Provinces.

Yıldız said in his statement:

"I am in Ankara for intensive contact with various institutions and organizations, especially the removal of the cuts made in Çiğli Municipality's Iller Bank appropriation for August, the meeting with the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the restructuring of the debts of the Social Security Institution (SSI) Presidency affiliated with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and the regulation regarding the Contribution Fee for the Protection of Immovable Cultural Assets implemented in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Cultural and Natural Assets. There is no other issue on our agenda."
