23-year-old returns to party with shotgun after fight in Roraima

The PM was called after the Mobile Customer Service (Samu) requested assistance. At the health center in Vila Novo Progresso, a 41-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman said that the confusion started because of previous disagreements with another couple who were also at the party.

According to them, the four exchanged attacks. The woman had injuries to her body and knees, as well as a bite mark on her right arm. The man had bruises on his mouth and neck.

According to the couple, a 23-year-old man left the area and returned with a shotgun. Other people at the party managed to take the gun away from him.

The police found the young man and his 30-year-old girlfriend while the two were seeking medical attention. The two said that the fight started after provocations from the other couple.

He had a cut on his left eyebrow. She had a cut on her right hand, a bite mark and other bruises on her body.

The woman stated that the wound on her hand was caused by the man, who used a knife. The young man denied taking the shotgun and returning to the scene. They were taken to the General Hospital of Roraima (HGR) by rescuers from the health center.

A witness told the PM that her daughter was threatened by the young man. According to her, he pointed the shotgun at her head and said he would kill her if anyone approached. The daughter was in shock and was unable to talk to the police.

The owner of the store where the party was held said that the fight started on the street, in front of the establishment, after the end of the event. He stated that he did not see the beginning of the disturbance, but he saw the young man leave and return with a shotgun.

According to him, some people took the gun and gave it to him, along with 20-gauge ammunition. The PM seized the shotgun and the ammunition.

The merchant also stated that he did not see anyone with a knife and said that the injury to the woman's hand could have occurred after falling onto beer bottles scattered on the floor.
