L&T's Power Transmission & Distribution division wins new orders in Middle East

Larsen & Toubro's Power Transmission & Distribution division has won new orders in the Middle East for building extra-high voltage substations, ensuring reliable power supply and decongesting existing grids. The orders, classified as 'significant' (ranging between Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 2,500 crore), are for turnkey projects with strict delivery schedules. This includes one 380 kV substation and two 132 kV substations. L&T's share price rose by 1.69% following the announcement. The company's PT&D business provides end-to-end EPC solutions for clean and reliable electricity across 30 countries. L&T is a $32 billion Indian multinational engaged in EPC projects, manufacturing, and more, operating globally.
