Milo Yiannopoulos speaks out after US deportation, describes ICE detention as physically degrading

Milo Yiannopoulos appears on Piers Morgan Uncensored after his ICE arrest followed by his deportation to the UK.

Brotosh far-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos who was deported from the US to the UK on allegations of visa overstay broke his silence on the ordeal and said he would challenge the removal. The former fanboy of President said he felt ashamed of once supporting Trump after he underwent the "physical humiliation" at the hands of the ICE agents. "I didn't really understand the physical reality of how institutionalized the brutality is in America. The manner in which they arrest you, they put you in manacles, everybody is arrested like an MS 13 gang member," he said as he appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored Tuesday. Yiannopoulos was an early supporter of Trump before he first became US president in 2016. He is a former editor of Breitbart News and later worked to help the rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, explore a presidential run in 2024. "It was physically degrading. It was frightening. I don't think I've ever been frightened like that before. I was weeping like an old woman for an hour. I wouldn't wish it on anyone," the 41-year-old commentator said. Milo said he had a Green Card, which the administration canceled without informing him. He said they sent the court order to an address where they knew he did not live anymore. He said he is married to an American and got marriage-based Green Card. In 2017, Yiannopoulos got married to a 'mystery man' in Hawaii. Years later, he started calling himself 'ex-gay'. "I was put from a detention facility to a correctional facility, every three hours, they were sort of trying to keep ahead of my lawyers...no one would tell me anything. I mean, I know it's designed to be like that, but it was humiliating, and it was disorienting all the rest of it; it was physically degrading. It was frightening," he said during the interview. Social media commentators said Milo deserved all of it as he has supported ICE in the past. Piers Morgan asked him about his past defence of ICE deporting Somalis. "Groups that have rampant criminality. I don't think the British are an especially egregiously violent group of people. The majority of Somalis in Minnesota are connected with fraud," Milo said. The Department of Homeland Security said ICE arrested Milo Yiannopoulos on August 27. "Yiannopoulos legally entered the country on May 14, 2019, through New York City, New York. He chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws. Yiannopoulos was issued a final order of removal by an Immigration Judge on July 22, after failing to show up for his immigration hearing. He will remain in ICE custody pending removal," the DHS said.
