The 27-year-old woman, identified as P Radha Gayatri, was found dead inside the homestay room where she had checked in with her husband on Saturday night.

According to police, Gayatri’s husband told investigators that the couple had consumed alcohol before going to sleep around 3. 30am.
He claimed that when he woke up, he found his wife unconscious and bleeding from her nose.
When approached by the media, Shricharan refused to comment.
Police said the couple had travelled from Delhi to Rishikesh on June 13 before reaching the Mussoorie homestay around 11. 30pm on Saturday.
