Murder in Giorgio delle Pertiche: 35-year-old killed with a firearm

The 35-year-old homeless man of Albanian origin found lifeless yesterday in Giorgio delle Pertiche, in the province of Padua, was killed with a firearm. In a note signed by the prosecutor of Padua Angelantonio Racanelli it is explained that "further investigations are underway to better outline the dynamics of the facts and identify those responsible. The first medical-legal investigations highlight the use of a firearm. At present, it is presumable to believe that it is a matter of settling scores in criminal environments dedicated to the dealing of narcotic substances".

The discovery

The body was found partially hidden in the back seat of a black Fiat Bravo, without license plates and pushed into the Tergola river. The alarm was triggered when a motorist noticed the car emerging from the river. The recovery of the vehicle was carried out by the firefighters, while the Carabinieri of the Cittadella company and the investigative unit of the provincial command of Padua are carrying out the investigations.
