Ahmet, the son of Mehmet and Yıldız Deniz, a couple who make their living as forest cutters in Akseki, has been living in a nylon tent they set up in the forest with his family during working periods for about 12 years.
The young man, who helped his parents in the time he had left from school and lessons, spent most of his holidays peeling logs, cleaning cutting areas and working in various heavy forest works.
FROM NYLON TENT TO HACETTEPE TIP
Ahmet Deniz, who did not give up on his education even though he spent most of the day in jobs requiring physical strength, attended classes whenever he had the opportunity.
Ahmet, who achieved significant success in the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) thanks to his regular and disciplined study, ranked 636th in Turkey in numerical score type and was entitled to enter the Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine English Program, which he dreamed of.
Ahmet's success brought great joy and pride to his family.
"WE SEE THAT THERE IS NO THING AS IMPOSSIBLE"
Father Mehmet Deniz said that they were very happy for his son's success.
Stating that Ahmet never neglected his lessons, Deniz stated that his son achieved success with his own determination.
Explaining that they did not pressure his son to study, Deniz said, "We never told Ahmet, 'Study.' We didn't say. Despite all the impossibilities, he created his own opportunities. "He worked lovingly, willingly and with great determination." he said.
Wishing his son's success to be an example for other young people, father Deniz said, "We are very happy and proud that Ahmet got into Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine. With his success, we saw that there is no obstacle to success for all young people and that there is nothing impossible. We hope that Ahmet's success will be a hope for our other young people as well." he said.
Mother Yıldız Deniz also stated that her son's success made them very happy.
Explaining that Ahmet did not give up on his education despite the difficult working conditions, Deniz said, "I am very happy and proud of my son's success. His teachers have contributed greatly to his success. I would like to thank everyone who supported my son, especially his teachers." he said.

Ahmet Deniz said that he achieved one of his biggest goals by getting into Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine.
Stating that bringing great happiness to his family is very valuable to him, Deniz stated that his goals played an important role in his success.
Explaining that he wanted his family to live in better conditions, the young man said, "I wanted my family to live in better conditions and to save them from this difficult life. This thought gave me strength while working." he said.
Deniz emphasized that he helps his family during holidays and works in forestry, and that the difficulties he experienced did not cause him to give up his goal of studying.

Giving suggestions to young people preparing for the exam, Deniz said, "I advise them to stay away from phones and social media. Because they distract a lot. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to work regularly, patiently and willingly." he said.
Ahmet Deniz, who was appreciated for his success, said, "My next goal is to be a good Turkish doctor, useful to my country and nation. I would like to thank all my teachers who contributed to me, especially my family." he said.
