Piergiorgio Bucci enters the world top ten in show jumping

A year to remember for Piergiorgio Bucci. And what certifies this in these hours is the seventh place that the blue occupies in the Longines World Rankings for show jumping. After the series of victories and placings in the 5-star Grand Prix in recent months, the fourth individual position obtained at the World Championships in Aachen has in fact projected the Italian athlete into the 'world top ten' with a total of 2,866 points. For 'Pigi' Bucci, who last month occupied 14th position and 48th at the beginning of 2026, this is the best placing ever; for the Italian show jumping, however, he is second overall after Lorenzo De Luca's second position in the September 2017 ranking.
