Civil Police begins return of 212 cell phones recovered in Operation Last Call in Mato Grosso do Sul

In Campo Grande, delivery will be concentrated at the Community Emergency Care Police Station (Depac Cepol), from 8am to 6pm. In the interior of the state, the devices will be returned by the police stations responsible for each case.

The victims whose cell phones were recovered are being called individually by the Civil Police. During contact, they receive information about the location, date and procedures necessary to remove the device.

The police advise that you do not need to go to a police station yourself. Anyone whose cell phone has been recovered must wait for contact from the institution and follow the instructions given by the police.

In the previous stage of Operation Last Call, the Civil Police sent 1,982 messages via WhatsApp to try to locate devices that had been reported stolen or stolen.

In total, 212 cell phones were recovered. The action involved 459 employees, who also carried out 262 interviews, registered 89 police reports and inspected seven locations linked to the sale of cell phones.

Operation Last Call is carried out across the country and is part of the Safe Cellular Project, coordinated by the National Secretariat of Public Security (Senasp), of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security.

In Mato Grosso do Sul, the operation has the participation of the State Secretariat of Justice and Public Security (Sejusp).

With the devices recovered, the new stage of the operation is aimed at returning the cell phones to their owners.

The return will be made by the police station responsible for the device, in accordance with the instructions given to the victim by the Civil Police.
