The police continue to monitor the Atollen area in central Jönköping because it is judged that there is a continuing threat.

The surveillance began on Monday afternoon. According to the police, there is a connection with the sharp object that was found in Rådhusparken in central Jönköping last week and is connected to organized crime.

SVT has spoken to a shop owner who was alerted to the police intervention by a customer.

- There were a lot of police cars and blue lights, says Annica Andersson, shop owner and optician in the area.
