Police on Saturday secured a seven-day remand of Samarth Singh, the prime accused in the death case of his wife, Twisha Sharma, after producing him before a court in Bhopal around 3 pm following his arrest from Jabalpur.

“We’ve issued three notices to her. Now she is denying it, that’s a different matter. But we served notices. She is accused of heinous offences,” Kumar said, adding that police had already approached the court seeking cancellation of her anticipatory bail.
