Putin Publishes Article on Russia-Kazakhstan Alliance Ahead of State Visit

MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. Ahead of his state visit to Kazakhstan, Russian President Vladimir Putin has published an article on the relations between the two countries in the Kazakhstanskaya Pravda newspaper. The article titled "Russia-Kazakhstan: Alliance in the Heart of Eurasia" is also available on the Kremlin website. In his article, the Russian leader shares his assessment of the current state and prospects of the Russian-Kazakh relations. Putin notes the bonds of friendship linking both Russia and Kazakhstan, himself and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He outlines key areas of cooperation promoting the two countries’ prosperity, notes the Russian and Kazakh peoples’ commitment to the legacy of the Great Victory and the respect for the Russian language. Publishing articles or interviews on bilateral relations in the key media outlets of the countries to be visited is a long-standing diplomatic tradition that Vladimir Putin tries to uphold. When state or official visits by foreign leaders to Russia are announced, they also often arrange for articles to be published in the Russian media.
