Reddit user tricked annoying cemetery dealer

A Reddit user with the nickname NanaGeorgianna shared the story of how she elegantly taught a dealer who was annoying her a lesson in places at a cemetery in a large American city. The annoying man called the girl several times a week, hoping to sell the plot.

“I told him several times that I wasn’t interested. I asked him to remove me from their calling list, and then I stopped answering altogether. But then he started calling me every evening! One day I decided that I had enough. I picked up the phone and let him tell me the details of his proposal. Moreover, I asked several clarifying questions, which is why the conversation lasted about 20 minutes,” the author wrote.

At the end of the conversation, she expressed her sincere interest in purchasing the property, asking if she could come by in person to look at her options. The seller was delighted and made an appointment, but the dialogue did not end there.

“I told him that they would have to dig a grave for me so that I could try it on and finally understand whether this place was right for me. He excitedly put me on hold to consult with a manager. A few minutes later his voice came through the phone again. He said in a serious tone that he couldn’t dig a grave and let me lie in it,” the girl said.

In response, she began to convince her interlocutor of the need for such a step. She motivated him by saying that he would stay in this place for an eternity, and therefore it had to be ideal. In the end, the merchant became suspicious and asked if the interlocutor was serious in the dialogue with him, adding that it looked like an evil joke. To this the girl replied: “Yes, Sherlock! You work for a predatory company, can't handle rejection, and yet won't remove my name from your calling list. Do you think you deserve the worst jokes?”

She was never bothered about this issue again.
