A Royal Air Maroc plane flying to Moscow made an emergency landing in St. Petersburg due to a UAV attack

A Royal Air Maroc plane flying from the Moroccan city of Casablanca to Moscow landed in St. Petersburg due to attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Telegram channel “Caution, News” writes about this.

According to the publication, passengers have not been allowed out of the cabin for about eight hours. Representatives of the foreign carrier do not answer their calls. Water and food on board ran out, and the toilets became clogged. Eyewitnesses complained that there was a terrible smell on the plane. Due to the lack of fresh air, one of the passengers became ill, but the flight attendants cannot call an ambulance.

As tourist Anastasia, who arrived from an African country, said, people’s suitcases were first unloaded and then loaded back. The pilots admitted that every 15 minutes their decision to fly to Moscow is postponed. However, they are already at work longer than expected. “There are small children, elderly people here, many have become ill without air. Panic began on the plane,” added the publication’s interlocutor.

It is clarified that the plane took off from Casablanca on June 17 at 22:30 local time and was supposed to land at Sheremetyevo on June 18 at 6:00. But due to the unmanned danger declared in Moscow, the airport was closed. As a result, the plane had to be redirected to Pulkovo.
