Russia's Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov, in his statement on his social media account, stated that the region was exposed to one of the most intense unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks at night.
It was stated that the Russian army, retaliating against the Ukrainian attacks, carried out a group attack on some targets in Ukraine in the morning, using land- and air-based high-precision weapons and long-range unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
ATTACK ON MOSCOW WITH 600 UAVS
In his statement on his social media account, Sergey Sobyanin, the Mayor of Moscow, the capital of Russia, stated that 600 UAVs have been sent towards the Moscow region since yesterday and said, "201 of them were destroyed in the region." he said.
Stating that 3 people were injured as a result of the attack, Sobyanin announced that work was continuing at the scene.
Sharing the information that there were injuries and deaths in the attack on Moscow, Vorobyov said, "1 person died in the city of Ramenskoye. 3 people were injured in the city of Podolsk." he said.
Vorobyov announced that a drug store and several houses were damaged in the city of Domodedovo in the region as a result of the attack, and emergency service teams continued their work at the scene.
ROSTOV AND BELGOROD WERE SHOT
Rostov Regional Governor Yuriy Slyusar said on his social media account that 5 people lost their lives as a result of air strikes in the region.
Belgorod Region Deputy Governor Aleksandr Shuvayev, in his statement on his social media account, stated that the Ukrainian army attacked the region with aircraft, UAVs and artillery, and said, "7 people were injured in the attacks." he said.
Shuvayev also emphasized that the Ukrainian army attacked a bus carrying employees of a business in the region, and 1 person died and 9 people were injured in the attack.
RUSSIA SHOT DOWN 822 UAVs
In the statement made by the Russian Ministry of Defense, it was stated that 822 Ukrainian UAVs were neutralized by air defense systems between 20:00 local time yesterday and 08:00 today.
In the statement, it was stated that UAVs were shot down in various regions, including Moscow, the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
RETALIATION TO KIEV'S 'FLAMINGOS'
In the statement of the Russian Ministry of Defense, it was stated that the facility belonging to the "Fire Point" company, which produces parts, warheads and solid fuel accelerators for "Flamingo" cruise missiles, was hit in Kiev, and the "Kiev-111" industrial facility, which produces parts for attack UAVs, "Hrush" type interceptor UAVs and air defense drones called "Garpiya", was also targeted in the city.
The statement stated that the Kremenchuk Oil Refinery, which produces fuel and lubricants for the needs of the Ukrainian army in the Kremenchuk city of the Poltava region, was hit, and it was announced that some workshops of the metallurgical factory, which produces rolled steel used in the production of weapons and military equipment, were also targeted in the Kriviy Rig city of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
It was also noted that a dry cargo ship carrying military supplies for the Ukrainian army was hit by UAVs in the Port of Odessa.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski stated that 3 people died and 20 people were injured in the air strikes carried out by the Russian army on Ukraine.
TWO SETTLEMENTS CHANGED HANDS IN DONETSK AND KHARKIV
Stating that the Russian army has made progress in all aspects of the front in Ukraine, the Ministry said, "Units of the Northern and Southern military forces liberated the Kudiyevka and Pershomaryevka settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic in the Kharkiv region." made the statement.
