São Paulo faces a rainy morning with strong winds and cloudy skies

The city of São Paulo experienced a morning of rain, strong winds, and overcast skies this Saturday (5). In different parts of the capital, the change in weather conditions left the sky looking like night even during the day (see photos in this report).

Rain began to hit the city in the early hours of the morning. According to the City Hall's Climate Emergency Management Center (CGE), Saturday began with heavy cloud cover and passing showers. Temperatures reached around 15.9°C during the dawn hours.

Unstable weather is expected to strengthen throughout the day with the advancement of a cold front along the coast of São Paulo state. Moderate to heavy rain showers, lightning, and wind gusts that could exceed 40 km/h are expected.
