Ismail Adult, who was arrested within the scope of the corruption investigation carried out by the Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Seferihisar Municipality, and S.A., who was included in the investigation file. The financial dimension of the relationship between the two and their WhatsApp correspondence became clear with the suspect's statement. S.A., who confirmed the demands for money worth hundreds of thousands of liras with the expressions 'My love' and 'My life' in the WhatsApp messages in the file, explained the details of the money traffic one by one in his statement.
"SOMETIMES HE GAVE IT HIMSELF, SOMETIMES HE SENT IT WITH HIS DRIVERS"
In her statement to the prosecutor's office, S.A. stated that she and İsmail Adult were lovers, and admitted that she had asked for money many times during their relationship.
Stating that he received some of the money in cash from Adult and some of it was delivered to him through the authority drivers, S.A. stated that drivers named Aykan, Deniz and Serter were used in the deliveries. S.A. confirmed that Aykan D., who brought the money most often, was his own brother and Adult's driver.
In the WhatsApp correspondence in the file, S.A. said, "When will you send my love Aykan?" It was claimed that Adult responded to the message, "My love is on his way now," and then S.A. thanked him for the payment.
300 THOUSAND TL CASH RENTAL SUPPORT AND VEHICLE PURCHASE
In his statement, S.A. said that İsmail Adult gave him 300 thousand TL in cash for the rent of his house and his personal needs. S.A. said, "He gave me 300 thousand TL in cash for 6 months' rent and my other needs. So I went to the bank and paid the 6 months' rent," and noted that the house rent was paid regularly by Adult. S.A. He also stated that İsmail Adult paid 300 thousand TL of the vehicle he bought in March 2025 for 765 thousand TL, and the remaining amount was covered by him and his brother Aykan D. He stated that he was in constant communication with Adult during the vehicle purchase process and received ideas by sending him the advertisements.

S.A., who was asked about the accommodation records in Antalya, Muğla and different provinces in the investigation file, declared that all the records were correct. Stating that travel expenses and hotel fees were mostly paid in cash by Adult, S.A. also explained a remarkable concealment method and said:
"During our travels with İsmail Adult, we usually kept two rooms. Although it appears in official records that I stayed in the same room with the drivers Aykan D. or S.Ö., in reality I stayed in the same room with İsmail Adult."
HIS SSI REGISTRATION WAS MADE FROM A COMPANY WHICH HE WAS NOT ACTUALLY WORKING FOR.
WhatsApp messages regarding insurance transactions, which constitute another important topic of the investigation, were also revealed with S.A.'s statement. When asked about the statements in the messages, "Zeki is with me, he says that your insurance is paid at the end of the month", Acar openly admitted that the insurance registration was made from the workplace belonging to Adult's friend Zeki S., but that he never actually worked at this workplace.
Following the statements of S.A., who claimed in his statement that his relationship with Adult was personal and that he was not involved in the tender, payment or official functioning of the municipality, the Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office continues to examine the source of the money transfers made by hand and whether municipal facilities were used within the framework of this relationship.
