Syrian army started receiving heavy weapons from YPG

It was stated that after the Syrian army announced that the terrorist organization YPG had "dissolved" itself, it started to receive the heavy weapons of the organization in Hasakah.

Among the heavy weapons that the Syrian army received from the YPG in the city in question are various armored vehicles, tanks, mortars, heavy machine guns and anti-aircraft guns.

In addition, the Syrian army seized air defense systems that the YPG looted from some military air bases after the overthrow of the Assad regime.

INTEGRATION PROCESS IN SYRIA

An agreement was reached between the Syrian administration and the terrorist organization YPG on January 29, envisaging a ceasefire and gradual integration.

In recent months, the Syrian government entered the province of Hasakah, which was occupied by the organization, and took over state institutions such as the governorship, courthouse and police headquarters.

Internal security units affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Internal Affairs also sent reinforcements consisting of dozens of vehicles to the city of Hasakah on September 1.
