鐵路便當節高雄場今登場，應邀出席的立委許智傑預告，全國唯一的台鐵便當「體驗店」，今年6月底前會在台鐵鳳山車站開張。
許智傑今出席鐵路便當節，除肯定台鐵用心，同時預告今年6月底、鳳山車站將出現台鐵便當觀光工廠，也是全國唯一台鐵便當觀光工廠。
許智傑說，他認為台鐵改制公司後，其實可朝多角化經營模式，例如策畫六都風華、以及全國各鄉鎮的鐵道祕境，還有台鐵的便當特色，這些都是台鐵未來可發展的方向。
台鐵說明，台鐵計畫運用鳳山車站空間前棟1至3樓，打造全台首座「台鐵便當品牌體驗館」，目前大致完成1樓先期研究及構想規劃，預計今年6月底以體驗店模式先行營運，透過製作參觀、互動體驗及販售展示等，成為台鐵便當及台鐵夢工場重要基地，後續於2、3樓擴大建置體驗館。
