Three Sailors Injured in Fire Aboard USS Zumwalt During Modernization in Mississippi

Three sailors were injured in a fire aboard the USS Zumwalt stealth destroyer on April 19 while it was pierside at HII Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Mississippi, undergoing modernization. One sailor was hospitalized in stable condition while two others received on-site treatment. The Navy is investigating the cause and damage.
