SEVENTEEN's The8 and Vernon form new unit 'V8'... Collaboration with Pharrell Williams

The group Seventeen's The8 and Vernon will form a new unit (small group) 'V8' and release a mini album of the same name on the 29th, their agency Pledis Entertainment announced on the 16th.

'V8' is an album that expresses the wandering and confusion experienced in the past, and the moments of recovery and growth found within it, under the theme of 'wasted youth.'

It contains a total of 8 songs, including the title song 'Singasong', 'Friend', 'BEAT', 'Mia', 'Coloring', 'girlsnboys', '8DM', and 'rat race', which is released only as a digital sound source.

'Singer Song' is an electronic song based on hyper pop. German DJ and music producer Meka Talk co-composed the song with the two members.

The song ‘Girls N Boys’ is a song in which star Pharrell Williams, who won 14 Grammy Awards, participated in composing, writing lyrics, and producing. Singer and producer Bumju, who has worked with SEVENTEEN for a long time, also participated in the song work.

This is the sixth time that Seventeen has released an album as a unit, following Boo Seok-soon, Jeonghan

V8 will hold a solo performance in Hall 1 of KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 11th and 12th of next month. This is the first Seventeen unit performance to be performed as a stand-up performance. They will also perform in Hong Kong from the 17th to the 19th of next month.
