Oh this is rough for the Bulldogs!

Sam Berry sends a long ball inside 50 and Jordan Dawson hangs out the back of a big marking contest, picks up the ball and then hands off to Luke Pedlar, who kicks his second of the night.

The Crows have now kicked 6.0 to 2.0 from stoppages for the night. They've also got four multiple goalkickers.

Richards makes it two goals in two minutes

Joel Freijah in the thick of it again as he creates a turnover at half forward, and then hands off smartly to Ed Richards.

Richards comes very close to running over the 15m legal limit, but drills it on the run for his 11th goal of the season.

Feels like momentum has shifted just a tad. The Dogs have kicked four of the last five goals.

The Bulldogs are a little hard done by as Jake Soligo gets away with what should've been a holding the ball call on the wing.

Jordan Dawson runs away with the loose ball and then hits up Zac Taylor, who then finds Fogarty inside 50.

That one takes the snuff out of the Dogs comeback attempt.

Jones traps Jake Soligo with a beautiful tackle after the spilt mark and he goes back and drills the set shot.

Lobb moved into defence to start second term

Rory Lobb has the Riley Thilthorpe assignment to start the second quarter.

I think that's a match-up switch the Dogs had to make, because Thilthorpe was way too strong for James O'Donnell.

Meanwhile, Jordan Dawson's first term was the third highest-rated quarter on record, per Fox Footy. Remarkable stuff.

Joel Freijah snaps one home with a couple of seconds left to give the Dogs some momentum going into the first change.

Good forward pressure that time from the Dogs forwards, who forced a rushed kick off the last line of defence.

There's a brief ARC check on the Freijah goal but it's eventually green-lit. That would've been devastating for the Crows if it got disallowed as well.

They need all the help they can get after a quite remarkable first quarter from Adelaide.

Skipper Jordan Dawson has been in the thick of it all, kicking three of the Crows' nine first-quarter goals while also picking up eight touches.

The Crows have smashed the Dogs all over the ground. They lead the disposal count 118-70, the inside 50s 17-13 and the clearances 12-8.

Adelaide's pressure all over the ground has been absolutely sensational. They lead the tackle count 19-13 and have laid four tackles inside forward 50.

James Peatling is the leading ball-winner on the ground with 13 disposals, while Ryley Sanders leads the way for the Dogs with eight touches, with seven of those handballs.

The Crows find him isolated in another one-on-one, this time it's in the square, and Thilthorpe legally flings James O'Donnell out of the way to take the mark.

Adelaide is able to finally transition out of defence through the middle of the ground, and Rory Laird sends the ball inside 50 where Riley Thilthorpe takes a good contested mark.

Thilthorpe is 25m out on a slight angle and converts the easy set shot.

Weightman denied return goal by ARC

What a moment this is!

Cody Weightman made his return after 637 days out last week, but couldn't kick a goal.

However, he's struck straight away here!

The Dogs go forward out of the centre bounce and Weightman attacks the dribbling ball beautifully and snaps over his right shoulder and is absolutely MOBBED.

Oh no, the ARC shows that Weightman's kick was touched by James Peatling.

Correct call, but the romantic side of me boos that bigtime.
