
Montreal Police Officer Killed in Hotel Shooting, Suspect Also Dead
A police officer was killed and another injured in a shooting at a Montreal hotel on Monday. The suspect, armed with a long gun, was also killed by police. A civilian also died in the incident, with the shooter of the civilian unclear. The officer, Constable Mohamed Lamine Benredouan, 34, was the first Montreal officer killed in the line of duty in 24 years.
