Bernadette Chirac, former French First Lady and a prominent public figure, has died at the age of 93. She served as a political figure for decades, including as a departmental councilor and deputy mayor, and championed the "Pièces Jaunes" initiative for hospitalized children. Her funeral was held at the Basilica of Saint-Clotilde.
