Uttar Pradesh Energy Minister AK Sharma announced the state achieved its highest-ever electricity supply, reaching a peak demand of 31,804 MW on Sunday night. He claimed this is a record for both the state and the country, with urban areas receiving up to 24 hours of power and rural areas around 22.5 hours.
