Rocky Statue Moves Indoors at Philadelphia Museum of Art for 50th Anniversary
The bronze Rocky Balboa statue will move inside the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the first time starting Saturday to mark the original film's 50th anniversary. The statue, depicting the fictional boxer's gloved hands raised in triumph, has stood outside the museum for over 20 years. The move is part of the exhibition 'Rising Up: Rocky and the Making of Monuments,' featuring over 150 art pieces and artifacts over 2,000 years old.
