Russia's Soyuz-5 rocket offers competitive payload-to-cost ratio
Russia's new Soyuz-5 medium-lift rocket boasts a favorable payload-to-cost ratio, with the cost per kilogram of payload being one-third lower than the Soyuz-2.1, according to First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. This makes it an attractive option for the market, especially with a reusable stage. The rocket also facilitates joint development of the Baikonur Cosmodrome by Russia and Kazakhstan.
