Jeffrey Epstein's Alleged Suicide Note Sealed in Courthouse Since 2019, NYT Reports
A purported suicide note written by late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been sealed in a New York courthouse since 2019, inaccessible to investigators. The note was discovered by his cellmate Nicholas Tartaglione in July 2019, shortly after Epstein was found unresponsive at the Metropolitan Correctional Center. In the note, Epstein claimed investigators had "found nothing" on him despite months of searching, concluding with "What do you want me to do, bust out crying? Time to say goodbye." The US Justice Department has not seen the note, which was not included in the Epstein files published earlier this year. The New York Times filed a petition to unseal the document.
