Beth Potter finished second in Yokohoma for a second consecutive year while Alex Yee came fifth on his return to the men's triathlon on Saturday.
Olympic bronze medallist Potter, 34, who was third overall in the 2025 World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS), crossed the finish line in one hour 50 minutes 15 seconds - two seconds behind winner Tilda Mansson.
Potter and Mansson were the frontrunners throughout the race and battled for victory in a thrilling sprint finish.
But it was deja vu for 34-year-old Potter who narrowly missed out on gold in the same event last year behind Jeanne Lehair, who was third this time.
All four British women in the event secured top-15 finishes, with Sian Rainsley (10th), Jess Fullagar (11th) and Kate Waugh (14th) completing a strong line-up.
