綜合外媒報導，全球網路狀態追蹤組織「NetBlocks」指出，伊朗在去年12月下旬爆發大規模反政府示威抗議之際，就開始限制網路連線，雖然到今年2月之後逐漸恢復正常，但到了2月底美伊開戰後，則是直接全面性斷網。
