The ref goes to the Bunker to make sure there's no interference on the chaser - but Tuala is offside and Manly get a penalty!

Saab loses the ball under heavy pressure from Burton. I thought he was a disruptor but it's not called and the Bulldogs have a golden chance to take the lead.

Crichton will be the one. He's in the pocket but bails out under pressure, and then he grubbers it to nobody! What was he thinking? Manly ball.

Tracey goes through of Galvin, he has Tuala in support and as he surges for the line he loses the ball! It was a strip from Tom Trbojevic! Manly ball.

73' Manly blow chance to take lead

Manly go wide straight away and Saab is off, he's got Garrick in support and the Bulldogs drag him down but the Sea Eagles are humming.

Fogarty nails a very tricky grubber to force a drop out and on the last tackle he has a field goal, ten out, right in front and he sprays it!

Thought that was automatic! But Canterbury hang on.

69' Koula delivers to pull Manly level

Trbojevic forces a drop out with a nice kick at the end of a power set. Saab gets dragged over the sideline but it's a penalty on Crichton for a second effort.

And, at last, the Dogs crack - Brooks throws a good out-ball to Koula, he sucks in the winger and pops the pass to Hopoate to score his second.

Very classy stuff from Koula, he put a very tasty move on Tuala. Those two have had a good battle all night.

Can Fogarty break the deadlock from out wide? It's only five metres or so in from the sideline.

It takes the post! We're level at 12-all!

65' Manly bomb a golden chance

Ben Trbojevic kicks for himself on the last, three Manly players are bearing down on it and it takes the only bounce where it can miss them all for Tuala to clean it up!

A play later Manly are pinged for offside. The Dogs escape.

61' Galvin gets the breakthrough

At last, we have more points. A deflected kick on the last, on the attack, gives the Dogs a fresh set after a good run from Galvin from dummy half gets them into the the 20.

In the end the try is really simple, Galvin gets on the outside of Trbojevic and slides over to score. Two nice plays from the halfback.

Crichton converts and it's 12-8 Bulldogs.

Nope - Brown loses the ball midway through the set. This game is degenerating.

Koula goes for a tap on that is ruled to go forward and the Dogs have a fresh set on the Manly 40.

But then Jones gives it right back after he loses it in a tackle. Both sides struggling to find their best right now.

54' Olakau'atu pinged for a high tackle

Tracey loses the ball and Brooks snaps it up and goes the other way. Manly have a chance at more points.

The attack is stilted, it falls to Olakau'atu on the last, he kicks into the in-goal and corrals Curran behind the line but is called for a high tackle. Close call, but Dogs get an easy passage out.

51' Crichton can't thread the needle

After a sensational set from the Dogs where a Tupouniua inside ball to Tracey gets them right on the attack, Crichton tries to nail a very difficult cut-out pass to an open Rinakama but the winger can't gather it in.

48' Manly can't make hay off Fog hammer

Fogarty nails a brilliant 40/20, he was 25 metres out from his own line and he's kicked it 70 odd metres, wow! Manly ball.

The Bulldogs hold the line though and as Fogarty tries to slide a grubber through Crichton cleans it up.
