Lavrov’s previous visit to Mozambique took place in May 2023. This visit’s program includes meetings with the country’s leadership and talks with Foreign Minister Maria Manuela dos Santos Lucas.
The two top diplomats met last time in Moscow a year ago, in July 2025.
