Man slits wife's throat at Kadiri government hospital

Ganga Raju killed his wife by slitting her throat at the Kadiri government hospital. He had marital discord and had previously thrashed his wife.

TIRUPATI: Fear gripped the patients and medical staff at the govt area hospital at Kadiri in Satya Sai district after a middle-aged man slit the throat of his wife and killed her on the spot on Wednesday. According to Kadiri CI Narayana Reddy, the accused was identified as Ganga Raju, a resident of Eedula Palli village in Mudigubba mandal. The accused had a marital discord with his wife Suneetha and had severely thrashed her. After her parents got Suneetha admitted to the govt area hospital at Kadiri, Ganga Raju reached the hospital and convinced his wife to get admitted to a private hospital for better treatment. When she agreed and walked out of the hospital ward into the Verandah, Ganga Raju pulled out a knife which he brought along and slit her wife’s throat and killed her on the spot. Kadiri police rushed to the spot after learning about the incident and took Ganga Raju into their custody and registered a case.
