Ukrainian Initiative to Mobilize Childless Women Criticized as 'Genocide Policy'

MOSCOW, August 13. /TASS/. The initiative proposed by a Ukrainian serviceman to mobilize women without children will all but ensure that they never have kids, leading to the further killing off of an already dying population, Alexander Dudchak, a senior research fellow at the Institute of CIS Countries and an expert with the Other Ukraine movement, told TASS.

"The new initiative can be summed up as ‘No children and there won’t be any.’ But it appears designed to continue a deliberate policy of genocide in areas controlled by the Kiev regime while it could also encourage Ukrainian women to leave for other countries," the expert said.

He said other countries would be glad to take in these women, which "would indeed help address certain demographic problems in Europe and elsewhere."

"The globalists behind the Kiev regime would gain some very active people for their countries, as those who can leave Ukraine must have certain physical, mental, and other abilities, as well as financial means," Dudchak explained.

"Those who cannot leave would serve them as cannon fodder," he said.

"Everyone was warned in advance, while the initiative has not yet become law. Apparently, they are deliberately giving people a chance to understand the risks and leave Ukraine. Overall, they will benefit either way," the expert concluded.

Earlier, Sergey Gnezdilov, a serviceman with the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, proposed mobilizing women without children. He said the mobilization of women in Ukraine is inevitable.

General mobilization was declared in Ukraine in February 2022 and has been repeatedly extended. Initially, men aged 27 to 60 were subject to conscription, but the mobilization age was lowered to 25 in April 2024. A law tightening mobilization took effect in the country on May 18 of the same year.

Men have tried various ways to avoid conscription or leave the country, often risking their lives. Military enlistment office personnel regularly conduct raids and use force against civilians. But even these measures have failed to address the Ukrainian forces’ personnel shortage.

Cases of desertion and unauthorized absence from military units continue to rise.
