Taiwan reports third Hantavirus case this year; Seoul virus identified

Taiwan reports its third Hantavirus case this year, a man in his 40s infected with the common Seoul virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states the Seoul virus has a lower fatality rate and no human-to-human transmission has been observed. Preventive measures include rodent control and proper disinfection of rodent waste.
