Researchers from Italian and UK universities studied skeletal remains from the Iron Age necropolis of CUS-Piovego in Padua, Italy. Stable isotope analysis revealed a diet rich in C4 cereals like millet, common in hot, dry environments, filling a gap in knowledge about pre-Roman Veneto communities.
