Russian diplomat says 15 medical workers killed in Ukrainian attacks in first quarter of 2026

Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik stated that Ukrainian attacks injured 39 medical workers and killed 15 during the first 90 days of 2026. He said Ukrainian strikes most often targeted ambulances arriving at scenes to rescue civilians, with more than 60 civilian ambulances destroyed or damaged in 2025. Additionally, 29 rescue workers were injured and three killed in the same period.
