総務省は過大請求分の返金を求め、「二度とないよう適正執行に努める」としている。
デロイトトーマツグループ傘下では、ストーンビートセキュリティ（東京）も4月10日、内閣官房から6カ月間の指名停止措置を受けた。
国家サイバー統括室によると、昨年5月に委託したセキュリティー対策調査で、情報管理の観点から指定された場所以外で作業をしていたことが発覚。今年3月に契約を解除し、一定の違約金を請求するという。
デロイトトーマツグループは2社の事案について、「業務管理体制の不備があったと認識している。類似案件調査と原因分析を実施し、（親会社の）監督機能も強化して再発防止策を徹底する」と取材に回答した。
