Delete Your Account
Last updated: September 13, 2026
Newsgather (operated by All Software 24) lets you delete your Newsgather account and the data linked to it at any time, from the app or from this page. Below you can see how to request deletion, what is deleted and what is kept.
1. How to request deletion
1. Fill in the form at the bottom of this page with the email address of your Newsgather account, or send an email to [email protected] from that address with the subject "Delete my account". 2. We verify that the request comes from the account owner. We may send a confirmation email to the account address. 3. Your account and all linked data are deleted within 30 days. We confirm the deletion by email.
You can also request deletion from the app: Profile → Delete account.
2. What is deleted
• Your account: email address and password. • Favorites and saved articles. • Preferences: feed country, app language, notification settings and quiet hours. • Push notification tokens registered to your account. • Active sessions and password-reset tokens. • Newsletter subscription for the same email address, if any.
3. What is kept and for how long
• Anonymous usage statistics are never linked to an account and cannot be traced back to you; they remain only as aggregate figures. • Encrypted server backups may still contain your data for up to 7 days after deletion; they then expire automatically. • Correspondence about your request (including the request itself) is kept for up to 12 months to document that it was handled.
Nothing else about you is retained.
