Chen Qimai criticized South Korea Yu's slogan and praised Lai Ruilong as the only outstanding candidate.

The outgoing mayor of Kaohsiung, Chen Chi-mai, today (3rd), at the "Inaugural Meeting of the All Industries and Industries Support Association" held by Democratic Progressive Party mayoral candidate Lai Ruilong, criticized the slogans of former mayor Han Guoyu such as the racetrack, Taiping Island oil exploration, and the Love Ferris Wheel, and praised Lai Ruilong as the only outstanding candidate to continue his policies, "Kaohsiung will not go back, choose the right person and take the right path!"

Chen Qimai mentioned the 2018 South Korean candidate for mayor and put forward many political opinions, including building a racetrack and going to Taiping Island to drill for oil. He also said that he was elected mayor of Kaohsiung and wanted to invite Arnold Schwarzenegger to Kaohsiung. He also proposed political opinions such as the Love Ferris Wheel. At that time, Hanguo-yu was very popular, and everyone felt that "what he said was the only solution to Kaohsiung's future economic development."

Chen Qimai pointed out that during the televised political speech that year, he talked a lot about the future development of Kaohsiung and performed very well, while Hanguo-yu didn't know much about Kaohsiung's municipal administration. After Han Guoyu was elected mayor, he was too sleepy (overslept) in the morning. He said that drilling for oil in Taiping Island was not included in his political opinions. The Hong Kong Jockey Club also issued three clarifications, saying that it did not send anyone to contact the racecourse with Han.

Chen Qimai said bitterly that Han Guoyu was so imaginative that he could grab medicine from a distance and "told a whole book to accomplish nothing." In the end, he didn't know if someone gave him sugarcane from the Taiwan Affairs Office of the People's Republic of China, so he hurriedly ran to elect the president. Fortunately, the people of Kaohsiung had the wisdom to remove Han Kuo-yu and correct the situation. Otherwise, he would have been worried that, as Shen Boyang said, if Kaohsiung got serious, Taipei would not be able to handle it.

Chen Qimai said that it is very important to elect the right mayor or the wrong one. In recent years, Kaohsiung has attracted 2.7 trillion yuan in investment and more than 100,000 job opportunities. Major international companies such as TSMC, Hon Hai, ASE, Xinhua, Inventec, Wistron, Integra, and Merck have invested in Kaohsiung. For six consecutive years, Kaohsiung has had the lowest unemployment rate among the six cities; according to Vision magazine, when he took office, he was at the bottom of the six cities. Since he took office, he has improved from 3.5 stars to half a star every year, and has become a five-star mayor for three consecutive years!

He said that many people asked him, "Strange, Mayor, why are you working so hard?" This is very simple, because Kaohsiung wasted two years, does Kaohsiung still have so much time to waste? "We elected the wrong mayor this time. Do we have to do it all over again? Choose a new good mayor who works hard and provides thorough service to Kaohsiung?" This has happened once. Will time wait for Kaohsiung?

Chen Qimai praised Lai Ruilong's 10 years of staff training and 10 years of experience in Congress. He has been the first-ranked legislator in 20 consecutive Public Supervision League evaluations.
