In Russia, the features of the new high-speed drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were assessed

In Russia, the features of the new high-speed drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have been revealed. Military expert Yuri Knutov, in an interview with Paragraph, said that these devices could be made on the basis of the domestic Geranium-4.

The analyst noted that there is still no complete and specific information about the new type of Ukrainian drones. “I think they appeared on the basis of our Geranium-4. Ukraine manages to intercept a certain number of such devices, usually with the help of fighter jets. They studied the design, looked at what kind of engine it was, and, naturally, tried to purchase a similar one in some third country,” explained Knutov.

He pointed out that the new drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces could become a problem for the Russian military. At the same time, the expert emphasized that domestic specialists are developing modern systems and interceptor drones capable of reaching speeds of up to 1000 kilometers per hour.

Knutov admitted that for now Ukrainian troops will use these drones exclusively on the line of combat contact or to attack targets near the front line.
