Canton Fair launches membership service for overseas buyers for the first time

The reporter learned from the reporter on the 12th that the main theme of this Canton Fair is "towards innovation, towards wisdom, and towards greenness". It will establish the Canton Fair Buyers Alliance for the first time, launch overseas buyer membership services for the first time, and innovatively launch a new model of "exhibition + overseas live broadcast".

Li Qinke, a staff member of the Conference and Forum Office of China Foreign Trade Center, said in an interview with China News Service that this year's Canton Fair will set up a new product launch display area for the first time, and build a three-in-one launch service system of "release-display-docking" to help exhibitors gain customers, strive to expand the exposure of first-office products, and create a new product trend vane, corporate debut venue and a must-have for buyers when selecting products.

On October 12, staff set up the exhibition in the Canton Fair exhibition hall. The 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will be held in Guangzhou in three phases from October 15 to November 4. The first phase, with the theme of "Advanced Manufacturing", focuses on displaying cutting-edge results in 19 exhibition areas in five major sectors, including electronic home appliances, industrial automation, lighting and electrical appliances, hardware tools, new energy vehicles and smart travel.

It is reported that this year's Canton Fair will display new products and new technologies in an all-round way through the "physical + digital" integrated display mode. Among them, the first new products in future industries such as service robots, smart medical care, smart manufacturing, and new energy increased by approximately 20% compared with the previous session, leading new market trends.

The reporter visited the camp and saw that many companies will bring "top products" to the Canton Fair to demonstrate the high-end innovation vitality of Made in China. Among them, Panda Electronics' "zero consumables" ozone water spray has opened up a new track for green disinfection; Hangzhou Jizhi has conquered the key technology of the motor balancing machine, the "heart" of humanoid robots, and completed a key link in the mass production of embodied intelligence; Pantum Technology has recycled and remanufactured more than 100 million pieces of consumables, making the circular economy a core competitiveness.

This year's Canton Fair has 9 trade service zones, covering all 10 categories of producer services for the first time, providing full life cycle services for enterprises and products going overseas. Huang Changjie, a staff member of the External Liaison Office of the China Foreign Trade Center, said that this Canton Fair innovatively launched a new model of "exhibition + overseas live broadcast". The event covers three phases of the Canton Fair, with three days in between each phase, with live broadcasts of exhibition tours in the morning and live broadcasts in the on-site live broadcast room in the afternoon. Currently, hundreds of exhibitors have signed up.

Huang Changjie introduced that this year's Canton Fair established the Canton Fair Buyers Alliance for the first time to promote information sharing and resource collaboration among members. The members of the alliance are mainly the world's top 500 companies, the top 250 global retail companies and leading companies in various countries. Currently, 58 leading procurement companies from 32 countries or regions have joined.

"We innovatively used 'Bluetooth + Beidou + 5G' integrated positioning technology to build a fully real-life booth-level navigation system with a navigation accuracy of up to 1 meter. For the first time, we achieved full museum coverage of 45 exhibition halls, 1.55 million square meters of exhibition area, and over 75,000 booths." Liu Shuya, a staff member of the General Management Department of the China Foreign Trade Center, said that this Canton Fair has further improved the level of digitalization and intelligence, and is the first in the domestic exhibition industry to achieve booth-level navigation and booth AR information display covering the entire hall.
