The Mailiao Township Office in Yunlin County held the "Mailiao King Boat Cultural Festival" event every five years. One of the highlights this morning (11th) was the "Double Mazu Meeting" of Kaishan Mazu at Gongfan Palace in Mailiao and Mazu Baishatun at Gongtian Palace in Miaoli, attracting thousands of people to gather in front of the Mailiao Township Office. Xu Zhongfu, the mayor of Mailiao Township, said that this is the first religious event in 400 years, and he hopes that Baishatun Mazu will come to praise the place and pray for peace and prosperity for the country and the people.
Around 7 o'clock this morning, people crowded in front of the Mailiao Township Office. Xu Zhongfu led the office team and Gongfan Palace Chairman Lin Donghe led the management committee to welcome Baishatun Mazu. Legislator Liu Jianguo, county councilor Xu Liubin, Formosa Plastics Wheat Management Department Vice President Cai Jianliang and others attended the meeting. At about 7:30, the three Mazu mothers from Baishatun arrived at Mailiao. Crowds of people flocked around the office, all wanting to see the "pink supercar".

People happily said that every time Baishatun Mazu performs incense, they rarely enter Mailiao Township. This time it is the "Double Mazu Meeting" with the founding Mazu. It is a rare religious event and must not be missed.
Xu Zhongfu said that in response to the Wangchuan Festival held every five years, Baishatun Mazu was invited to come to Zanjing. He hoped that the blessings of the "Double Mothers Association" and cross-county cities would make Mailiao Township smoother, and he would also take this opportunity to show the unity and enthusiasm of the Mailiao people.
Lin Donghe said that the one-day blessing ceremony will pass through Zhendong Palace, Mailiao Farmers Association, Fude Palace, Zhenxi Palace, etc. in the morning. In the afternoon, he will go to Liuqing Industrial Zone to bless people. Along the way, he will pass Zhongshan Kaiyuan Palace, Xucuo Fuxing Palace, and finally arrive at Shicuo Jubao Palace. The total route is more than 20 kilometers. He hopes that all living beings can be blessed along the way.
Liu Jianguo said that the "Double Mothers' Association" is rare, and he prays that it can bless Mailiao and Yunlin to make further progress, and that Yunlin can produce a good talent, thereby making Yunlin County more competitive, and also allowing new industries to be introduced to Yunlin to enhance local strength.
Hong Wenhua, the chairman of Gongtian Temple, said that the office has been preparing for the "Double Mothers' Meeting" for nearly a year, and hopes that through the blessing of praise, it will not only wish the Wangchuan Cultural Festival a complete success, but also make the villagers safe and smooth.
