China News Service, Zhuhai, October 2 (Deng Yuanwen, Zhang Ziheng) On October 1, on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Zhuhai Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station, together with the Hong Kong Immigration Department and the Macao Public Security Police Force, held a flag-raising ceremony with the theme of "Raising the Flag Together, Walking Together" at the White Dolphin Island of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

As the only National Day flag-raising event in the country jointly organized by the entry-exit law enforcement departments of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, this ceremony paid tribute to the grand anniversary of the country as a gift, interpreted the vivid practice of "one country, two systems" with the three places as one, and injected warm and firm strength of the country into the integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

On the morning of the same day, the National Gate Flag Guard Team composed of personnel from the entry and exit administration departments of the three places lined up in the same frame, with the three uniforms complementing each other. In this event, for the first time in a cross-border joint event, the flag guards of the Macao Public Security Police demonstrated Chinese-style foot drills and saluted the five-star red flag with the flag guards of the Mainland and Hong Kong in a unified etiquette. Three uniforms, one team and one pace have become the most recognizable scenery of the Greater Bay Area during the National Day holiday.

Chen Jihong, chief director of the Zhuhai Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station, said that the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is a physical link connecting the three places, and it is also a spiritual bridge that unites the people. The national gate guards of the three places raised the same national flag together, which is not only an affectionate tribute to the 77 years of hard work of the People's Republic of China, but also a vivid interpretation of the successful practice of "one country, two systems". It is also an oath of mission for the police colleagues of the three places to work together to protect the tranquility of the Bay Area and escort the development of the country.
