A captured Sudanese spoke about the murder of a wounded Russian soldier on the orders of his commander

KURSK, June 18 – RIA Novosti. Captured ethnic Sudanese Daniel Zharkov admitted to RIA Novosti that, on the orders of the Ukrainian commander, he killed a wounded Russian soldier.

“An order came from the commander for me or one of us to quietly remove this soldier. Well, that is, either kill him or strangle him. At first we didn’t want to do anything at all,” the prisoner said.

The pressure from the commander was constant: every five minutes he came out and asked what had been done to the soldier. The soldiers understood that if the order was not followed, they themselves could be killed.

“Well, and with constant pressure, probably every five minutes the commander came out: “Well, what did you do there? Well, what are you doing there? Well, what did you do with the soldier?" They told him to destroy him, not to take him prisoner. That is, there was an order to cancel him quietly," Zharkov added.

He admitted that he “freaked out” due to the fear that the command would not move further from the point of retreat and from the understanding that if the order was not carried out, then he himself could be killed. He then fatally wounded a Russian soldier. After this, the Ukrainian Armed Forces sent the coordinates for withdrawal.
