Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian industrial facilities and logistics centers

The Ukrainian military hit an oil refinery and a warehouse belonging to the online mail order company Ozon in a wave of attacks against Russia. The company announced via Telegram that operations at the logistics center in the southeastern Russian region of Samara would be suspended. People were injured. Russian officials did not specifically speak of an oil refinery being hit, only speaking generally of an industrial facility being attacked. According to Ukrainian reports, this is a large refinery in the Samara region.

Ozon is Russia's second largest online mail order company. It is the first known attack on the company. Ukraine had previously attacked the larger ozone competitor Wildberries with drones for weeks. Ukraine sees the company as a target because it supports Russia's war.

According to a Russian governor, Ukraine attacked the port city of Yeysk on the Sea of ​​Azov in the southern Russian region of Krasnodar. He said a fire broke out at an unspecified facility in the city's port.

The Russian capital Moscow also reported new Ukrainian drone attacks this morning. According to the authorities, there were temporarily no take-offs and landings at the capital's airports due to flight alarms.

According to Ukraine, Russia also attacked that night, including the capital Kyiv. A warehouse caught fire. According to information from the Russian Ministry of Defense that was initially not verifiable, a railway depot with locomotives was hit.

There is talk of dead and injured people on both sides.

Russia and Ukraine have significantly increased their mutual air strikes. Experts speak of an escalation of violence on both sides.
